Development Tools

I don’t know how many “old” programmers are still using Eclipse. These programmers are either stuck in the old ways or simply don’t know the existence of other good development tools. Eclipse The phenomenon of memory lag and the appearance of various accidental and inexplicable abnormalities tell us that it is time to look for new development tools.

Change IDE

I don’t want to explain more about what kind of IDE to change. If you want to become an excellent Java programmer, please change IntelliJ IDEA. Benefits of using IDEA, search Google.

Don’t tell me that the shortcut keys are not easy to use

Changing IDE is not the focus of this article, so I don’t want to spend too much space writing about why I changed IDE. Here, I can only tell you that changing IDE is just to write Java code better and faster. The reasons are omitted.

Don't tell me shortcut keys don't work, please try new things.

Based on the idea of microservices, the actual project is built in the B2C e-commerce scenario. The core technology stack is Spring Boot Dubbo. In the future, it will be restructured into Spring Cloud Alibaba.

Bean

Bean is one of the most used models. I will explain bean in a large space. I hope readers can understand it well.

domain package name

According to the "experience" of many Java programmers, a database table corresponds to a domain object, so when many programmers write code, the package name is : com.xxx.domain. This writing seems to have become a constraint in the industry. The database mapping object should be domain. But you are wrong. Domain is a domain object. Often when we do traditional Java software Web development, these domains are anemic models with no behavior or insufficient domain model behavior. Therefore, based on this theory Generally speaking, these domains should be an ordinary entity object, not a domain object, so please change the package name to: com.xxx.entity.

If you still don’t understand what I’m saying, please take a look at a book called “IMPLEMENTING DOMAIN-DRIVEN DESIGN” by Vaughn Vernon. The book explains the anemia model and domain I believe you will benefit a lot from the difference between models.

DTO

For data transmission, we should use DTO objects as transmission objects. This is what we agreed on, because I have been doing mobile API design work for a long time, and there are many people Tell me, they think these objects become DTO objects only when transmitting data to the mobile phone (input or output). Please note! This understanding is wrong. As long as they are objects used for network transmission, we all think that they can be regarded as DTO objects. For example, in an e-commerce platform, when a user places an order, the order data will be sent to OMS or ERP. System, the return values and input parameters of these connections are also called DTO objects.

We agree that if an object is a DTO object, the name will be changed to XXDTO, for example, the order is issued to OMS: OMSOrderInputDTO.

DTO conversion

As we know, DTO is a model object for the system to interact with the outside world, so there must be a step to convert the DTO object into a BO object or an ordinary entity object. Let the service layer handle it.

Scenario

For example, adding a member operation, because it is for demonstration, I only consider some simple data of the user. When the background administrator clicks to add a user, only the user's name and age need to be passed. That's it. After the backend receives the data, it will add three fields: creation time, update time and default password, and then save the database.

@RequestMapping("/v1/api/user")
@RestController
public class UserApi {
    @Autowired
    private UserService userService;
    @PostMapping
    public User addUser(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
        User user = new User();
        user.setUsername(userInputDTO.getUsername());
        user.setAge(userInputDTO.getAge());
        return userService.addUser(user);
    }
}
Copy after login

We only focus on the conversion code in the above code, please ignore other content:

User user = new User();
user.setUsername(userInputDTO.getUsername());
user.setAge(userInputDTO.getAge());
Copy after login

Please use the tool

The above code, logically speaking, is not The problem is, this way of writing irritates me. There are only two fields in the example. If there are 20 fields, how should we do it? Set data one by one? Of course, if you do this, there will definitely be no problem, but it is definitely not an optimal approach.

There are many tools on the Internet that support shallow copy or deep copy Utils. For example, we can use org.springframework.beans.BeanUtils#copyProperties to refactor and optimize the code:

@PostMapping
public User addUser(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
    User user = new User();
    BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
    return userService.addUser(user);
}
Copy after login

BeanUtils.copyProperties is a shallow copy method. When copying properties, we only need to copy the DTO object Just set the attribute values of the two objects to be converted to the same name and ensure they are of the same type. If you have been using set for attribute assignment when doing DTO conversion, then please try this way to simplify the code and make the code clearer!

The semantics of conversion

The above conversion process, readers After reading it, I definitely feel that it is much more elegant, but when we write Java code, we need to consider more semantic operations. Look at the above code again:

User user = new User();
BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
Copy after login

Although this code simplifies and optimizes the code very well, But there is a problem with its semantics. We need to implement a transformation process, so the code is changed to the following:

@PostMapping
 public User addUser(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
         User user = convertFor(userInputDTO);
         return userService.addUser(user);
 }
 private User convertFor(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
         User user = new User();
         BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
         return user;
 }
Copy after login

This is a better semantic writing method. Although it is more troublesome, it is more readable. Greatly increased, when writing code, we should try to put the semantic level into a method, such as:

User user = convertFor(userInputDTO);
return userService.addUser(user);
Copy after login

public interface DTOConvert<S,T> {
    T convert(S s);
}
Copy after login

public class UserInputDTOConvert implements DTOConvert {
@Override
public User convert(UserInputDTO userInputDTO) {
User user = new User();
BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
return user;
}
}
Copy after login

@RequestMapping("/v1/api/user")
@RestController
public class UserApi {
    @Autowired
    private UserService userService;
    @PostMapping
    public User addUser(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
        User user = new UserInputDTOConvert().convert(userInputDTO);
        return userService.addUser(user);
    }
}
Copy after login

review code

@PostMapping
public UserOutputDTO addUser(UserInputDTO userInputDTO){
        User user = new UserInputDTOConvert().convert(userInputDTO);
        User saveUserResult = userService.addUser(user);
        UserOutputDTO result = new UserOutDTOConvert().convertToUser(saveUserResult);
        return result;
}
Copy after login

User user = new UserInputDTOConvert().convert(userInputDTO);
Copy after login

public class UserInputDTO {
private String username;
private int age;
    public String getUsername() {
        return username;
    }
    public void setUsername(String username) {
        this.username = username;
    }
    public int getAge() {
        return age;
    }
    public void setAge(int age) {
        this.age = age;
    }
    public User convertToUser(){
        UserInputDTOConvert userInputDTOConvert = new UserInputDTOConvert();
        User convert = userInputDTOConvert.convert(this);
        return convert;
    }
    private static class UserInputDTOConvert implements DTOConvert<UserInputDTO,User> {
        @Override
        public User convert(UserInputDTO userInputDTO) {
            User user = new User();
            BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
            return user;
        }
    }
}
Copy after login

User user = new UserInputDTOConvert().convert(userInputDTO);
User saveUserResult = userService.addUser(user);
Copy after login

User user = userInputDTO.convertToUser();
User saveUserResult = userService.addUser(user);
Copy after login

我仔细阅读了一下 GUAVA 的源码,发现了 com.google.common.base.

public abstract class Converter<A, B> implements Function<A, B> {
    protected abstract B doForward(A a);
    protected abstract A doBackward(B b);
    //其他略
}
Copy after login

private static class UserInputDTOConvert implements DTOConvert<UserInputDTO,User> {
        @Override
        public User convert(UserInputDTO userInputDTO) {
                User user = new User();
                BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
                return user;
        }
}
Copy after login

private static class UserInputDTOConvert extends Converter<UserInputDTO, User> {
         @Override
         protected User doForward(UserInputDTO userInputDTO) {
                 User user = new User();
                 BeanUtils.copyProperties(userInputDTO,user);
                 return user;
         }

         @Override
         protected UserInputDTO doBackward(User user) {
                 UserInputDTO userInputDTO = new UserInputDTO();
                 BeanUtils.copyProperties(user,userInputDTO);
                 return userInputDTO;
         }
 }
Copy after login

DTO:

public class UserDTO {
    private String username;
    private int age;
    public String getUsername() {
            return username;
    }
    public void setUsername(String username) {
            this.username = username;
    }
    public int getAge() {
            return age;
    }
    public void setAge(int age) {
            this.age = age;
    }
    public User convertToUser(){
            UserDTOConvert userDTOConvert = new UserDTOConvert();
            User convert = userDTOConvert.convert(this);
            return convert;
    }
    public UserDTO convertFor(User user){
            UserDTOConvert userDTOConvert = new UserDTOConvert();
            UserDTO convert = userDTOConvert.reverse().convert(user);
            return convert;
    }
    private static class UserDTOConvert extends Converter<UserDTO, User> {
            @Override
            protected User doForward(UserDTO userDTO) {
                    User user = new User();
                    BeanUtils.copyProperties(userDTO,user);
                    return user;
            }
            @Override
            protected UserDTO doBackward(User user) {
                    UserDTO userDTO = new UserDTO();
                    BeanUtils.copyProperties(user,userDTO);
                    return userDTO;
            }
    }
}
Copy after login

API:

@PostMapping
 public UserDTO addUser(UserDTO userDTO){
         User user =  userDTO.convertToUser();
         User saveResultUser = userService.addUser(user);
         UserDTO result = userDTO.convertFor(saveResultUser);
         return result;
 }
Copy after login

private static class UserDTOConvert extends Converter<UserDTO, User> {
         @Override
         protected User doForward(UserDTO userDTO) {
                 User user = new User();
                 BeanUtils.copyProperties(userDTO,user);
                 return user;
         }

         @Override
         protected UserDTO doBackward(User user) {
                 throw new AssertionError("不支持逆向转化方法!");
         }
 }
Copy after login

Bean

public class UserDTO {
    @NotNull
    private String username;
    @NotNull
    private int age;
        //其他代码略
}
Copy after login

API 验证:

@PostMapping
    public UserDTO addUser(@Valid UserDTO userDTO){
            User user =  userDTO.convertToUser();
            User saveResultUser = userService.addUser(user);
            UserDTO result = userDTO.convertFor(saveResultUser);
            return result;
    }
Copy after login

@PostMapping
public UserDTO addUser(@Valid UserDTO userDTO, BindingResult bindingResult){
     checkDTOParams(bindingResult);

     User user =  userDTO.convertToUser();
     User saveResultUser = userService.addUser(user);
     UserDTO result = userDTO.convertFor(saveResultUser);
     return result;
}
private void checkDTOParams(BindingResult bindingResult){
     if(bindingResult.hasErrors()){
             //throw new 带验证码的验证错误异常
     }
}
Copy after login

Getter

@Setter
@Getter
public class UserDTO {
    @NotNull
    private String username;
    @NotNull
    private int age;
    public User convertToUser(){
        UserDTOConvert userDTOConvert = new UserDTOConvert();
        User convert = userDTOConvert.convert(this);
        return convert;
    }
    public UserDTO convertFor(User user){
        UserDTOConvert userDTOConvert = new UserDTOConvert();
        UserDTO convert = userDTOConvert.reverse().convert(user);
        return convert;
    }
    private static class UserDTOConvert extends Converter<UserDTO, User> {
        @Override
        protected User doForward(UserDTO userDTO) {
            User user = new User();
            BeanUtils.copyProperties(userDTO,user);
            return user;
        }
        @Override
        protected UserDTO doBackward(User user) {
            throw new AssertionError("不支持逆向转化方法!");
        }
    }
}
Copy after login

public class Student {
    private String name;
    private int age;
    public String getName() {
        return name;
    }
    public Student setName(String name) {
        this.name = name;
        return this;
    }
    public int getAge() {
        return age;
    }
    public Student setAge(int age) {
        return this;
    }
}
Copy after login

Student student = new Student()
        .setAge(24)
        .setName("zs");
Copy after login

@Accessors(chain = true)
@Setter
@Getter
public class Student {
    private String name;
    private int age;
}
Copy after login

List<String> list = new ArrayList<>();
Copy after login

List<String> list = Lists.newArrayList();
Copy after login

HashMap<String, String> objectObjectHashMap = Maps.newHashMap();
Copy after login

@Accessors(chain = true)
@Setter
@Getter
@RequiredArgsConstructor(staticName = "ofName")
public class Student {
    @NonNull private String name;
    private int age;
}
Copy after login

Student student = Student.ofName("zs");
Copy after login

@Accessors(chain = true)
@Setter
@Getter
@RequiredArgsConstructor(staticName = "of")
public class Student {
        @NonNull private String name;
        private int age;
}
Copy after login

Student student = Student.of("zs");
Copy after login

Student student = Student.of("zs").setAge(24);
Copy after login

public class Student {
    private String name;
    private int age;
    public String getName() {
            return name;
    }
    public void setName(String name) {
            this.name = name;
    }
    public int getAge() {
            return age;
    }
    public void setAge(int age) {
            this.age = age;
    }
    public static Builder builder(){
            return new Builder();
    }
    public static class Builder{
            private String name;
            private int age;
            public Builder name(String name){
                    this.name = name;
                    return this;
            }
            public Builder age(int age){
                    this.age = age;
                    return this;
            }
            public Student build(){
                    Student student = new Student();
                    student.setAge(age);
                    student.setName(name);
                    return student;
            }
    }
}
Copy after login

Student student = Student.builder().name("zs").age(24).build();
Copy after login
Copy after login

@Builder
public class Student {
    private String name;
    private int age;
}
Copy after login

Student student = Student.builder().name("zs").age(24).build();
Copy after login
Copy after login

public abstract class FilterRestTemplate implements RestOperations {
        protected volatile RestTemplate restTemplate;
        protected FilterRestTemplate(RestTemplate restTemplate){
                this.restTemplate = restTemplate;
        }
        //实现RestOperations所有的接口
}
Copy after login

public class ExtractRestTemplate extends FilterRestTemplate {
    private RestTemplate restTemplate;
    public ExtractRestTemplate(RestTemplate restTemplate) {
            super(restTemplate);
            this.restTemplate = restTemplate;
    }

    public <T> RestResponseDTO<T> postForEntityWithNoException(String url, Object request, Class<T> responseType, Object... uriVariables)
                    throws RestClientException {
            RestResponseDTO<T> restResponseDTO = new RestResponseDTO<T>();
            ResponseEntity<T> tResponseEntity;
            try {
                    tResponseEntity = restTemplate.postForEntity(url, request, responseType, uriVariables);
                    restResponseDTO.setData(tResponseEntity.getBody());
                    restResponseDTO.setMessage(tResponseEntity.getStatusCode().name());
                    restResponseDTO.setStatusCode(tResponseEntity.getStatusCodeValue());
            }catch (Exception e){
                    restResponseDTO.setStatusCode(RestResponseDTO.UNKNOWN_ERROR);
                    restResponseDTO.setMessage(e.getMessage());
                    restResponseDTO.setData(null);
            }
            return restResponseDTO;
    }
}

public abstract class FilterRestTemplate implements RestOperations {
    protected volatile RestTemplate restTemplate;
    protected FilterRestTemplate(RestTemplate restTemplate) {
            this.restTemplate = restTemplate;
    }
    @Override
    public <T> T getForObject(String url, Class<T> responseType, Object... uriVariables) throws RestClientException {
            return restTemplate.getForObject(url,responseType,uriVariables);
    }
    @Override
    public <T> T getForObject(String url, Class<T> responseType, Map<String, ?> uriVariables) throws RestClientException {
            return restTemplate.getForObject(url,responseType,uriVariables);
    }
    @Override
    public <T> T getForObject(URI url, Class<T> responseType) throws RestClientException {
            return restTemplate.getForObject(url,responseType);
    }
    @Override
    public <T> ResponseEntity<T> getForEntity(String url, Class<T> responseType, Object... uriVariables) throws RestClientException {
            return restTemplate.getForEntity(url,responseType,uriVariables);
    }
    //其他实现代码略。。。
}
Copy after login

@AllArgsConstructor
public abstract class FilterRestTemplate implements RestOperations {
    @Delegate
    protected volatile RestTemplate restTemplate;
}
Copy after login

final DateTime DISTRIBUTION_TIME_SPLIT_TIME = new DateTime().withTime(15,0,0,0);
private Date calculateDistributionTimeByOrderCreateTime(Date orderCreateTime){
    DateTime orderCreateDateTime = new DateTime(orderCreateTime);
    Date tomorrow = orderCreateDateTime.plusDays(1).toDate();
    Date theDayAfterTomorrow = orderCreateDateTime.plusDays(2).toDate();
    return orderCreateDateTime.isAfter(DISTRIBUTION_TIME_SPLIT_TIME) ? wrapDistributionTime(theDayAfterTomorrow) : wrapDistributionTime(tomorrow);
}
private Date wrapDistributionTime(Date distributionTime){
    DateTime currentDistributionDateTime = new DateTime(distributionTime);
    DateTime plusOneDay = currentDistributionDateTime.plusDays(1);
    boolean isSunday = (DateTimeConstants.SUNDAY == currentDistributionDateTime.getDayOfWeek());
    return isSunday ? plusOneDay.toDate() : currentDistributionDateTime.toDate() ;
}
Copy after login

Having said so much, what I mean is that as long as you think it is reasonable, please change the state mode to the strategy mode. All modes are not imagined out of thin air, they are all based on reconstruction.

There is no silver bullet in Java programming. Please embrace business changes and keep thinking about refactoring, and you will have a better code design!

Are you really good?

I'm so sorry that I chose such a boring title.

A popular programming method abroad is called pair programming. I believe that many domestic companies do not do this. I will not talk about the benefits of pair programming. In fact, it is a code review while improving each other. process. Since you can't do this, how can you keep improving in your own world?

"When developing, I always think that the code I make is correct and the writing method is perfect." I believe this is the voice of most people. Let's go back to the question just now, how to do it on my own What about continuous improvement in the world?

The answer is:

  • Look more at the source code of mature frameworks

  • Look back at your own code

  • Diligently refactoring

Are you really good? If you study the source code every week, look back at your code, and then refactor diligently, I think you are really good.

Even if you are just getting started, if you persist, you will be a programmer who can really write Java code.

SKILLS

UML

I don’t want to discuss more UML related knowledge, but I think if you really know how to write Java, please learn to express yourself first, UML is what you speak language, to be an excellent Java programmer, please learn at least these two UML diagrams:

  • Class diagram

  • Sequence diagram
