Apple’s global Mac shipments will increase slightly in the first quarter of 2022, according to new PC shipment estimates shared by Gartner this afternoon. Apple shipped an estimated 7 million Mac units in the quarter, up from 6.5 million units in the same period last year, a growth rate of 8.6%.

In the United States, Apple ranked fourth with 2.8 million Mac shipments, up from 2.3 million units in the same period last year, a growth rate of 18.6%. Apple’s U.S. market share was 14.5%, up from 10.2% a year earlier.
