Countdown Sound

Apple Watch does not have the quick click function of the SOS side button. Instead, it has two options.

Apple Watch has a loud iPhone-like countdown prompt sound. However, there is no option to turn it off. The countdown alarm will sound even if your iPhone or Apple Watch is set to silent/vibrate.

How to set up or update a Medical ID on iPhone

  1. Launch the Health app on iPhone
  2. In Summary or Browse ” tab, click the profile icon in the upper right corner
  3. Select Medical ID >Edit
  4. Enter or update Your information, including whether you want emergency responders to be able to see your medical ID when your iPhone is locked and share your medical ID when making emergency calls
  5. After completion Click Done in the upper right corner

The Health settings in the Apple Watch app are used to calculate calorie burn and other health metrics, separate from your Medical ID profile.

How to Access Medical ID on iPhone and Apple Watch
