With the Microsoft Graph connector, organizations can index third-party data so it appears in Microsoft search results. This feature expands the types of content sources that can be searched across Microsoft 365 productivity apps and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. Third-party data can be hosted on-premises or in a public or private cloud.
Using the Microsoft Graph connector for Confluence Cloud, you will be able to index and search Confluence pages and blogs from any Microsoft search endpoint such as Bing, SharePoint, Office.com, and more. Likewise, using the Graph connector for Jira Cloud, you will be able to index and search Jira issues and tickets.
Admins will be able to configure the Graph connector from the Microsoft 365 admin center. Please see the documentation pages for the Confluence and Jira connectors to learn more about the setup process.
Microsoft will begin rolling out the new connector in early February, with the rollout expected to be completed by mid-February.
