尽管没有获胜,Microsoft Defender 仍然令人眼花缭乱 AV-TEST 显示最新报告

Microsoft Defender once again received a perfect score of 18 points in AV-TEST’s latest February 2022 rankings. AV-TEST rates products that score 17.5 or higher out of 18 as a "TOP PRODUCT." The security assessment company releases these reports every two months after evaluating the performance of various anti-malware solutions available in the market.

AV Testing says:

Between January and February 2022, we continuously evaluated 18 security products for home users using default settings. We always test with the latest public version of all our products. They can update themselves and query their cloud services at any time. We focus on realistic testing scenarios and challenge products against real-world threats.

Defender also received perfect scores in its first two rankings, in October 2021 and December 2021, but failed to win any awards for best home antivirus.

A total of 18 anti-malware products, including Defender, were tested across three categories:

  • Protection
  • Performance
  • Usability

Despite some shortcomings, Microsoft has continued to add useful features to Defender functionality, which may be one of the reasons why it continues to perform well in security assessment reports. For example, the company recently added a "Vulnerable Driver Blocklist" option, and it's also actively working to improve false positive detection.
