微软在1月取消22.01后发布Azure Sphere 22.02版

Microsoft has announced the release of Azure Sphere version 22.02. In January, the company canceled the release of Azure Sphere OS version 22.01 due to issues with the retail evaluation channel and confirmed that the next version would be released in the second half of February.

Azure Sphere 22.02 feature release includes updated Azure Sphere OS, Azure Sphere SDK for Windows and Linux, Azure Sphere extensions for Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, samples, code snippets and library projects, and Updated documentation.

If their device is connected to the internet, users will receive updated operating systems from the cloud. You can install the updated SDK now, or you'll be prompted to install it the next time you use it. You can also check out the installation quickstarts for Windows or Linux to install the latest SDK.

Azure Sphere OS version 22.02 upgrades the Linux kernel (5.10.70) and supports DHCP releases and updates. Azure Sphere SDK version 22.02 supports Windows 11, updates to 64-bit time support, changes to the CLI's default logging behavior, and authentication library updates to the CLI.

With the latest update, the Azure Sphere CLI no longer writes log files to local disk by default. It also now employs Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) instead of Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL). Azure Sphere Classic CLI will continue to use ADAL until the ADAL retirement date of June 30, 2022, at which time it will be updated.
