Microsoft has launched a new Windows Server Insider Preview version. This month's build 25120 is now available for download as an ISO as well as a VHDX from the Windows Server Insider website, but even though it uses the same underlying kernel as Windows 11 Sun Valley 3 was developed for, as usual, there's no changelog to speak of, so it's unclear what's new of.
In preview, the branding of Windows Server 2022 has not been updated. Additionally, Microsoft asked Insiders to call these versions vNext instead of Windows Server 2022, which is already available.
Windows 11 build 25120, the Sun Valley 3 consumer development version, was also released to the Windows Insider Dev Channel today, possibly indicating that the builds will continue to be synchronized.
This release does not contain any release highlights or known issues.
