According to reports, the project is located in Xiyong Microelectronics Park in the core area of ​​Chongqing Science City. It is jointly built by Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee, Huawei, and ChinaSoft International. A model project of the Chengdu-Chongqing hub node of the "Eastern Data and Western Counter" national integrated big data center.

Project investment1.18 billion. The first phase of the project covers an area of ​​approximately 10 acres. It consists of a computing power platform, a software platform and supporting computer rooms, including a data center, exhibition hall, and switch station. There are 3 buildings in total, with a construction area of ​​over 5000 square meters, and the computing power scale of the first phase is 400P, that is, the calculation speed is 40 billion times per second. The total computing power of the AI ​​cluster in the overall project layout can reach up to 1024P (FP16), which is equivalent to the computing power of 500,000 PC.

At present, the innovation center has opened computing power trial services for Changan Automobile, MCC CCID Information, Terminus and other enterprises, and promoted the transformation of their innovative achievements by focusing on application innovation incubation.

At the same time, the innovation center plans to provide computing power services to 25 units in the first batch, covering specific application scenarios such as autonomous driving, intelligent manufacturing, smart cities, and biomedicine, and provide external computing power scale exceeding 320P.

In addition, the Innovation Center has also jointly incubated a large model for basic scientific research on intelligent diagnosis and treatment with Chongqing University and Jinfeng Laboratory. After the model training is completed, it will become the first large model in the field of medical diagnosis in Chongqing; it also organizes artificial intelligence teacher training for developers, Innovation competitions and other activities promote new breakthroughs in scientific research innovation and talent training in Chongqing's artificial intelligence industry.
