Apple announces macro photography 'Shoot on iPhone' challenge

Apple today announced the 2022 Shot on iPhone Challenge, which encourages users to submit impressive photos taken using Macro mode on iPhone 13 Pro and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max.

To enter, users must share their macro photo on Instagram, Twitter or Weibo with the hashtags #ShotoniPhone and #iPhonemacrochallenge. In the title, users should note the model they used to capture the image. Apple also accepts entries by emailing shotoniphone@apple.com.

Entrants may submit unedited macro photos directly from the Camera app, but photos edited through Apple's Photos app or third-party software will also be accepted. The Challenge is open only to non-Apple employees and their immediate family members who are 18 years of age or older.
