Recently, at the World Intelligence Conference held at the Tianjin National Exhibition Center, the Chongqing No. 8 Middle School Robot Team won the championship in the international competition standard group of the RoboCup Junior Onstage project and will represent China in the 2023 RoboCup World Cup in early July. This is the seventh consecutive year that Chongqing No. 8 Middle School has won the championship in this event and the fifth consecutive time it has participated in the international competition.

It is reported that the RoboCup Robot World Cup is one of the most influential robot competitions for college and middle school students in the world. It is divided into five major projects and more than ten small projects, and is divided into entry-level and advanced groups according to the application level of students. Group, attracting more than 600 top college and middle school student teams from the United States, Europe, Japan and Australia to participate every year.

This competition is held simultaneously with the World Intelligence Conference for projects with international competition quotas in the RoboCup Robot World Cup.
