Guizhou Province Youth Robot Competition

We are committed to promoting the prosperity of youth robot education activities in our province to cultivate and discover outstanding youth scientific and technological innovation reserve talents. On June 10, the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Association, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education and other relevant provincial units, and the Anshun Municipal People's Government jointly organized the 2023 Guizhou Provincial Youth Robot Competition at the Anshun Olympic Sports Center.

This competition has a total of 7 projects, including online and offline parts. Among them, the online unmanned driving skills competition was completed in April this year; the six offline projects are Robot Shooting Contest, RIC Innovation Challenge, Over-the-rail Popularization Competition, Smart City Challenge, and MakeX Robot Challenge , UAV Comprehensive Challenge. A total of 315 teams and nearly a thousand young people from 9 cities and states across the province competed for multiple awards such as the "Smart City Challenge" and the "UAV Comprehensive Challenge".

At the competition site, the contestants showed off their talents. Some were focused on writing programs, and some were debugging and operating robots calmly. Through competition and communication, everyone collided with technological sparks and ignited technological dreams.

Since its first session in 2015, the Guizhou Youth Robot Competition has been successfully held for 8 sessions. Youth robotics education has come a long way, with more than 1,000 contestants now taking part, up from 300 initially. The competition provides a broad communication and display platform for young people across the province who love robotics.
