Recently, the 2023 World Robot Competition Championship (Yantai) came to a perfect conclusion. In the Youth Robot Design Competition - Smart City All-Around Challenge (High School Group), the two flagship elf teams composed of Chen Ziang, Wei Yaxi, Li Ruikai, and Zhang Yinuo, first-year students of Jizhou Middle School in Hengshui City, Hebei Province, are passionate and confident, challenging themselves, Face the difficulties, be proactive and chase your dreams. After two rounds of qualifiers, we finally stood out from many elite participating teams across the country. The two participating teams entered the finals with the first and fifth place in the preliminaries respectively. In the final, the two participating teams fought tenaciously and lived up to expectations, winning the runner-up (Li Ruikai, Zhang Yinuo) and third runner-up (Chen Ziang, Wei Yaxi) respectively.

Success is never achieved overnight, but is a result of accumulated efforts over time. During the preparation process, repeated training, debugging, and modifications once made the team members very frustrated. With the active encouragement and patient guidance of three tutors, Song Zhixue, Liu Shipei and Li Chao, everyone regained their confidence and persevered.

The school’s Robotics Club is committed to cultivating students’ innovative thinking and engineering operation capabilities, and stimulating students’ enthusiasm for science and technology and their spirit of exploration. They can personally experience the charm of science and technology in their daily studies and competitions, fully cultivate their innovation, creation, hands-on practice, and teamwork abilities, stimulate their enthusiasm for scientific and technological innovation, and lay a solid talent reserve foundation for the construction of a technologically powerful country.

Introduction

The World Robot Competition is hosted by the China Institute of Electronics. It has been successfully held for 8 times since 2015. It has been widely praised as the "Olympics of Robotics" by major mainstream media. It has been continuously shortlisted for the national competition list for primary and secondary school students announced by the General Office of the Ministry of Education. It is an influential figure both at home and abroad. A wide range of official professional events in the field of robotics. This competition consists of four major events: the Inclusive Robot Challenge, the BCI Brain Controlled Robot Competition, the Robot Application Competition, and the Youth Robot Design Competition. There are 11 competitions in total and 48 competition groups. There are more than 1,000 teams in this competition. More than 3,000 players competed in the same field.
