1. Activity theme
The event will use the theme of "Creating the Future with AI" to guide young people to think about what kind of abilities young people should learn and master in today's "era of human-machine intelligence" with the development of AI technology in order to be more capable. Make good use of artificial intelligence technology to contribute to the future development of society and mankind, and achieve the goal of making human society more intelligent, coordinated, and harmonious.

The Science and Technology Experts Volunteer Group is calling on technical experts and engineers in the field of artificial intelligence to participate, including universities, scientific research institutes, and scientific and educational enterprises. Science and Education Teacher Group: It is composed of key artificial intelligence teachers (teaching researchers) recommended by provincial youth science and technology education institutions. It mainly participates in the demonstration and review of annual activity topics and specific rules, and demonstrates and drives primary and secondary schools in the province to participate in activities. Each province can also set up its own provincial science and education famous teachers group based on actual work conditions.
3. Main content
(1) Carry out youth artificial intelligence learning experience and innovative practice activities
The Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology will jointly build a national youth artificial intelligence innovation and practice activity learning experience platform (https://www.openinnolab.org.cn/pjlab/aievent/innovation) for all Teenagers in the school stage carry out a series of themed learning experiences and innovative practice activities of different types and difficulties, including AI art generation, AI interaction design, AI engineering practice and AI algorithm challenges (see attachment 1 for activity guide), allowing teenagers to complete relevant knowledge Study and practice, encourage young people to use computational thinking and innovation and creativity to realize the application of technology in life, and guide young people to discover and solve problems. (2) Carry out national youth artificial intelligence backbone teacher learning and exchange activities
The organizer will organize two national key teacher learning and exchange activities focusing on deep learning model training, open source hardware innovation, AI graphical interaction design and other contents (specific matters will be notified separately) to help teachers improve and guide young people to learn artificial intelligence The professional ability to popularize science knowledge promotes the widespread development of artificial intelligence science education activities for young people.
(3) Carry out teacher AI innovative teaching case collection activities
We are soliciting project-based learning activity cases, interdisciplinary themed learning activity cases, and project-based learning activity cases with the three major elements of artificial intelligence (data, algorithms, and computing power) as the core content for science and technology educators inside and outside the school. (4) Holding a National Youth Artificial Intelligence Innovation Practice Exchange Exhibition
Based on the early learning experience and innovative practice activities, we will select outstanding youth works and teachers’ teaching case results such as AI interaction design, AI engineering practice, and AI algorithm challenges, and hold offline exchanges and exhibitions (specific matters will be notified separately) . During the event, there will also be activities such as artificial intelligence education forums and teacher science and innovation workshops to jointly discuss the development trends and practical paths of youth artificial intelligence education.
4. Activity schedule
(1) Starting from July, teenagers and teachers will experience and learn online.
(2) From September 1st to October 31st, teenagers and teachers will submit their works.
(3) From November 1st to December 15th, the organizer will organize experts to select works. Some of the selected outstanding works will participate in the offline National Youth Artificial Intelligence Innovation Practice Exchange Exhibition.

5. Work Requirements
(1) Strengthen publicity and mobilize schools to actively participate. Provincial youth science and technology education activity departments and units should actively prepare and actively mobilize young people and science and technology teachers in the province to participate. In particular, the "National Youth Artificial Intelligence Popularization Science Activities Featured Units" selected between 2018 and 2021 are guided and encouraged to participate in various annual activities.
(2) Increase teacher training. All localities can cooperate with education and other departments to increase teacher training for artificial intelligence popularization activities, organize and mobilize artificial intelligence experts from universities and scientific research institutes in the province to participate in the guidance and teacher training of the activities, and promote the high-quality development of artificial intelligence education for teenagers in the province. The organizer can provide experts, scientific and educational resources and other support for teacher training and activities in each province. Each province is requested to recommend 3-5 key artificial intelligence teachers or teaching researchers to participate in the Science and Education Teachers Group (see attachment 3 for the recommendation list), and the recommendation work should be completed before July 17.
(3) Summarize experience and establish an activity incentive mechanism. All provincial youth science and technology education activity departments and units are requested to promptly summarize the progress of various activities.
