Google Maps not working on iPhone? This is a real fix!

Fix 1 – Turn on location services

Fix 4 – Turn off Low Power Mode

Step 1: Open the Settings app and go to "Battery" option.

Step 2: Turn off the Low Power Mode option by clicking the toggle switch as shown below.

Fix 5 – Update Google Maps

Step 1: To update the Google Maps app, you should go to the App Store.

Step 2: Click the Search tab at the bottom.

Step 3: Enter "Google Maps" and search for the app.

Step 4: If there are any updates available, it will show "Updates". You have to click on it and follow the instructions.

Step 5: If "Open" is displayed, it means the application has been updated.

Note – If this doesn’t work, you can try uninstalling Google Maps from your iPhone and then reinstalling it from the App Store.

Fix 6 – Reset Location and Privacy

Step 1: Open the Settings page and click General” options.

Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom and click Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Step 3: Click Reset.

Step 4: Select the Reset Location and Privacy options.

Step 5: Click Reset Settings.

1. Restart iPhone – Several issues can arise on your iPhone due to glitches inside the iPhone. This problem can be easily corrected by simply restarting the device once.
2. Check Google Maps Server – When the Google Maps server is down for some reason, you may have issues accessing the app. Therefore, please check the status of the Google Maps server and if it is down, wait for a few hours and try again later.
3. Check Date and TimeSettings – If you have set the wrong date and time on your iPhone, you will need to change it to the correct value first to fix the issue. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time. Now enable Automatic setup by clicking on the toggle switch option.
