Back in September last year, we informed you that Microsoft had just purchased Clickchamp and planned to make it a Windows native application.
The software will be added to the latest Dev Channel Insider build, and we recently found out the Redmond tech giant will be joining in as well.
Within Clipchamp, users are said to find even more unique offerings, such as an inventory library filled with more than a million royalty-free videos, audio tracks, and images that can be added to videos.
There’s even a text-to-speech generator powered by Azure that can create voiceovers in over 70 languages.
Clipchamp also connects with OneDrive, which means you can import files and save videos quickly and securely.
In addition to this, you can also use Clipchamp with Microsoft 365 apps. The application is no longer only available for personal accounts, but also for professional accounts.
Here's what Microsoft has to say about it:
To date, Clipchamp has only been available to users of personal Microsoft accounts. Today, we are excited to announce that Microsoft Clipchamp will be available to Microsoft 365 business customers through the Targeted Release Program. In the coming weeks, this release will make it simple and efficient for everyone to create videos, making them more productive and empowered.

Note that all of these changes will not be available to the public until they pass the Insider testing phase, so they are not available to everyone yet.
Access should be easy. Over the next few weeks, you'll see a special new Clipchamp start page on Microsoft 365. From there, using the video editing tool is as easy as using it for your personal business.
Now, with all these great features and integrations, it’s understandable how many of us already want to use it.
And, if you need some help with this, we're here for you, eager to help and expedite any process you have in mind right now.
Yes, you can! Although the Redmond-based tech company purchased it to be bundled with its latest operating system, the software remains available to everyone.
When faced with this dilemma, we tend to instinctively quickly look to Google for a solution. Once you take this action, you will be directed to the official Clipchamp website, which is the first search result.
The software is completely free and you can get it in just a few clicks. However, there is no telling what fees we may have to pay for certain features or services in the future.
However, if you want to install Clipchamp on your PC and start playing around with it, this is the easiest way to do it on a Windows 11 device, for more advanced users we recommend using Adobe Premiere and other professional software, which is enough to meet any video editing needs.
