Huawei launches new OceanStor Pacific 9920 distributed all-flash storage solution

Huawei announced the launch of a new distributed storage all-flash product - OceanStor Pacific 9920 at the 3rd Huawei Data Storage User Elite Forum. This innovative product aroused enthusiastic response at the venue with its excellent performance, huge capacity and advanced technology.

As a 2U, 1-node SSD per chassis All-flash distributed storage, OceanStor Pacific 9920 adopts a fully symmetric distributed architecture. The raw capacity of each chassis ranges from 38.4TB to 92.16TB. Each node is equipped with two Kunpeng 920 processors. The bandwidth of a single node is as high as 20GB/s, and the IOPS can reach a peak of 800,000. This excellent performance means that OceanStor Pacific 9920 can provide efficient data access services for various scenarios such as virtualization/cloud resource pools, databases, high-performance computing, AI applications, and big data analysis.
