Compile/VR Gyro
Recently, X user @NWeedle posted that Nintendo currently has a VR glasses prototype project that is being tested. Judging from the leaked information, it is a supporting product for Switch 2, but can be used independently of Switch 2 and has mixed reality capabilities. The glasses feature Micro-LED screens, and Google is involved in some way.

@NWeedle further pointed out that this VR glasses uses Raxium’s Micro-LED related technology. Raxium has a number of patents on “cost-effective, energy-saving high-resolution Micro-LED panels”. It was officially launched in May last year. Acquired by Google. Not just VR glasses, but even Switch 2 will consider using Micro-LED screens in the future.
It is worth mentioning that Micro-LED is still facing many technical difficulties, the production cost is relatively high, and there are currently few products equipped with Micro-LED screens. However, @NWeedle replied that although the technology is still early, Raxium has "precisely solved many of these obstacles" and we will see more products using Micro-LED technology launched in the future.
@NWeedle pointed out that for Google, after experiencing the failure of projects such as AR glasses Iris, it began to position itself as a technology provider. In addition to Nintendo, Google is also working with Samsung and Qualcomm to build MR platforms.
