Editor It is understood that Emeya has a built-in 102kWh battery pack. Although it is slightly smaller than the 112kWh battery of the Eletre, it is equivalent to the 100kWh battery of the Tesla Model S Plaid. Lotus has announced that they plan to start production of the Emeya in 2024 and will reveal more information about the model before the end of this year. Pricing information for the Emeya has not yet been revealed by Lotus. However, as a competitor to the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan, Emeya is expected to be priced between US$75,000 and US$135,000. The sports car and racing car manufacturer in Heysel, County Fork, was acquired by China's Geely Group in 2017. Geely Group has built a new US$1.2 billion factory in China to support the production of Lotus pure electric vehicles. In 2021, Lotus announced their plans for full electrification, with plans to launch a new model every year until 2026.
