Another day, Microsoft appears to be developing another AI-powered tool. This time, the latest update to the Paint app for Windows Insiders includes strings for a new image generation feature called Paint Co-Creator.
Cocreator is now live on the Dev/Canary channel (build 11.2308.18.0), powered by DALL-E, an AI system that creates photorealistic images and art from text descriptions. This discovery supports previous reports that Microsoft was developing AI capabilities for Paint.
Strings include: "Describe what you want to create," "Try "a cat walking in the woods" or "a house built from leaves," and "According to Microsoft's Responsible AI Guidelines, It looks like there are some words that can be blocked.
