The long-awaited Paint Cocreator feature is now rolling out to Windows Insiders in a preview tab. Microsoft will roll out this feature to general consumers in the coming weeks.
With the new Paint Cocreator feature, you simply use text prompts, select a style and use the power of Dall-E's generative AI to generate unique images. You can then edit the resulting image to your liking using Paint's editing tools.
At launch, the Paint Cocreator preview feature will be available in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Microsoft will expand this feature to other regions in the coming weeks.
During the preview phase, there will be some restrictions. Paint Cocreator currently only works with English prompts. Additionally, there are only 250 credits available for your first use of Paint Cocreator. One point will be deducted for each use. Microsoft may change this points system after the preview is complete. Microsoft may offer more credits to Microsoft 365 subscribers in the coming months.
