Microsoft Edge 是否可以轻松允许在浏览器上进行有害下载?

Microsoft Edge has strict policies when it comes to allowing browsers to allow harmful downloads, but there seems to be a slight change in this regard. When you download an "uncommon" file or anything the browser deems harmful, an additional dialog box will appear if you want to keep the download.

As shared by internal @Leopeva64 on X (fka Twitter), this dialog disappears in Dev and Canary versions of the browser. It typically asks the user to confirm whether they want to download the file and provides a brief description of the risks associated with downloading the file.

After clicking Keep in the three-dot menu, the file will be downloaded automatically. Take a look at the differences between the stable version and other versions below:

Is this a bug or Tested changes? Who knows, but one thing is for sure, we’ll keep you posted.

Elsewhere in the Edge universe, its split-screen feature is getting a new vertical view makeover. The change, discovered back in September, would allow you to open split-screen view vertically.
