BYD's Mexican branch successfully cooperated with international energy company Enel X to deliver the first batch of pure electric high-floor bus chassis to Metrorrey, Monterrey's public transportation system. A total of 21 12-meter-high floor pure electric buses will be used on urban public transportation lines in Monterey.
BYD’s public account revealed that these new buses use the latest generation of high-end chassis and blade battery technology, which have significant advantages such as zero tailpipe emissions, reduced noise pollution and improved energy efficiency.
BYD's electric car "Dolphin" was officially launched in Mexico in September this year, priced at 535,990 pesos. The car is equipped with a 44.9 kWh blade battery, which can travel 405 kilometers (according to NEDC standards) when fully charged. Under fast charging conditions, it can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4125 mm (length) x 1770mm (width) x 1570mm (height), wheelbase is 2700mm.
