NVIDIA discontinues RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards to make way for new SUPER products
News from this site on January 9th, NVIDIA officially released the RTX 40 SUPER series of graphics cards early this morning, with three options: RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER.
According to news received by HardareLuxx media editor Andreas Schilling, Nvidia has confirmed the discontinuation of RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 graphics card has been slashed from $599 to $549.
This site found from Nvidia’s official press release that the RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti are no longer in the newly listed RTX 40 series graphics card introduction picture. In other words, these two graphics cards were replaced by the RTX 4080 SUPER and 4070 Ti SUPER respectively. The RTX 4070 was relegated to the preservation model, and its original position was replaced by the RTX 4070 SUPER.
