On Thursday, Nvidia officially released the domestic special version of high-end consumer graphics card - GeForce RTX 4090D.

GeForce RTX 4090D is a new RTX 4090 product that complies with US export regulations. It is equipped with 14592 CUDA cores, 24GB GDDR6X memory, 384-bit wide memory bus, 425W rated power consumption, and is priced the same as the RTX 4090 , both priced at 12,999 yuan (approximately $1,828).


In order to comply with new US export control regulations, some computing power indicators of the RTX 4090D have been cut compared to the RTX 4090, with the main changes surrounding the CUDA core.
Compared with the "standard version" graphics card, the number of CUDA cores of RTX 4090D has been reduced by 12.8%, from 16384 to 14592 (128 SMs reduced to 114 SMs). At the same time, the power consumption has also been reduced from 450W. to 425W, a decrease of 5.9%. US export regulations that took effect on October 23 this year only allow the export of computing cards with a total processing power (TPP) of less than 4800.
