Unable to save Word document due to file license issue

The word document cannot be saved due to file license issues

The idea is very simple. According to the characteristics of the problem, problems will occur after the Word file is saved. The last save will generate a hidden file "~$ partial filename.doc" and a "~WRL random number.tmp" file. The key is the .tmp file, which saves the last modified content. We can restore the file to resolve the issue.

The problem is not that simple. If you select this .tmp file and try to open it with the Word program, you will receive a prompt: "This file cannot be found. Please try the following: Check the spelling of the document name; try a different file name.", even though Clicking OK doesn't help. What you need to do is restart the computer (logging out as a user has no effect), then find the .tmp file again and open it with Word so that you can see the contents of your file. Just save it as another file name and save it.

As for those who want to avoid this problem but are reluctant to delete KAV, you can make the following settings (taking Kav 2009 as an example).

Method 1: Settings - Protection - Anti-malware - Files and Memory - Enable file and memory protection - Settings - Attachments, change "Quick Mode" to "When accessed and modified" or "On visit" will do.

Method 2: Open Kabbah-Settings-Options (left)-Threats and Exclusions-Trust Area-Trust Programs-Add-Browse "C:\Program Files\MicrosoftOffice\OFFICE11/WINWORD.EXE" (this is your word The installation location (the specific paths of Word2003 and Word2007 will be different), open - OK, OK!

Office word document saving error: word failed to read this file WRL0080 tmp

~WRL0080.tmp is the cache of the word file you are editing. This error message will appear only when this file is damaged or lost!

Open the display system files, hidden files and file extensions, and then look for it in the same directory as the word file you edited——

If there is ~WRL0080.tmp file, rename it to WRL0080.doc, then open the WRL0080.doc file to continue your editing work. The WRL0080.doc file can be restored to the state you last saved.

If there is no ~WRL0080.tmp file, then you are in trouble! All you have to do is edit your word file again. .

I suspect you edited it using the word file in the USB flash drive. When the U disk is ejected and then clicked Save, this error message appears because the path is incorrect. Therefore, it is recommended to copy the files from the USB flash drive to the hard disk and then edit them. After the editing is completed, copy them back to the USB flash drive to overwrite the original files.

word failed to read this file wrl0001 tmp

Recently, Microsoft Word 2003-2007 often encounters the problem "Word cannot complete the save operation due to file permission errors", resulting in the edited article not being saved and data being lost. The original file became a temporary file. It had to be restarted and the suffix changed to doc before it could be used again, which brought great inconvenience to the work. It turns out that all this is caused by Kaspersky 2009 (including Kav and Kis, currently it seems to be various versions of 8.0). There is a conflict between the new Kabbah and Word2003 and Word2007, which has not yet been satisfactorily resolved. This problem has caused inconvenience and even catastrophic effects to many people.

Users who have installed Kaspersky 8.0, please proceed as follows:

method one:

Open Word-->Tools-->Options-->Save, remove all checked options in Save, and then save (OK).

Method Two:

Open Kabbah-->Settings-->Anti-malware program-->File and memory-->Then click "Settings" next to "Enable file and memory protection"-->Select the "Additional" tab--> Change "Scan Mode" from "Quick Mode" to "On Access and Modification" before confirming the application.

Method 3:

1. Turn off Kaspersky self-protection;

2. Run Regedit to open the registry and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\KLIF\Parameters,

Create a new NonCachedIo, type Dword, health value is 1;

3. Restart and enable Kaspersky’s self-protection;

4. Then add Word and the entire Office to the "trusted" list of KIS.
