According to Weilai’s official introduction, the cost of battery replacement usually consists of two parts: basic electricity fee and service fee. The basic electricity bill is charged by the local power company based on actual electricity consumption, and NIO only acts as the collector. On the other hand, the service fee is mainly used for the daily operation and maintenance of the battery swap station. NIO announced that it will waive service fees during the Spring Festival holiday, which means that users will enjoy more affordable fees when performing high-speed battery swaps during this period.
NIO car owners can use the "Car-Charging Map" function in the NIO App to check charging stations that are free of service fees. The specific operation method is as follows: First, click "Filter" in the App, then select "NIO Power Swap Station" as the resource type, and then select "High-speed Service Area" or "High-speed Entrance" as the construction site.
