MSI confirms BIOS performance issue, will provide update solution for all its RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards
According to news from this site on January 26, MSI recently admitted that there is a problem with the first BIOS of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 3X graphics card, apologized to users and provided BIOS updates for all its RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards.
The review of NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will be released on the 23rd and 24th of this month. However, according to feedback from many overseas media including TechPowerUp, ComputerBase and The Verge, less than 2 days before the release of the review, Nvidia officially reminded them that the MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 3X media card they received had problems, performance About 5% lower than expected.
According to a report by foreign media TechPowerUp, under the original BIOS version 95.03.45.40.58, MSI’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 3X graphics card has basically no performance improvement compared to the RTX 4070 Ti.
MSI has launched the first BIOS update 95.03.45.40.DC, but Nvidia said that the graphics card performance under this BIOS is still "3% lower than expected figures."
Finally, MSI has once again launched an update. The latest 95.03.45.40.F0 version of the BIOS makes its performance basically catch up with its competitors. However, the second BIOS update came too late. For example, foreign media KitGuru said that it only received it 2 hours before the ban was lifted and could not update the evaluation data.
