Installing iOS 17 is very easy. Just follow these steps:
Open "Settings" Applications Click General Click Software UpdateOn this screen you can view The currently installed iOS version and see if a new version is available. If a new version is available, you will be reminded to update. If the update has been downloaded in the background but has not yet been applied, the "Install now" option may appear on the screen. And if you haven't downloaded the update yet, the "Download and install" option will appear.
Just follow the instructions to upgrade to iOS 17. You may need to re-agree to the terms and conditions, then take a few minutes to download, verify and apply. Once completed, your iPhone will restart and a welcome screen will appear introducing the new features.

iOS 17 will not support iPhone 8, 8 Plus, or iPhone X. They all run iOS 16, though, so they should have at least another year of support with security updates. The following iPhones are getting support for iOS 17, although some iPhones don't support all the new features:

However, not all new features will be available at launch.
