MSI motherboard BIOS update fixes STAPM issue on AMD Ryzen 8000G APU
According to news from this site on February 7, AMD recently issued a statement through Gamers Nexus, confirming that it has not lifted the STAPM restrictions on AM5 desktop APUs such as Ryzen 8700G and Ryzen 8600G (you can understand it as a temperature power wall, which is useful for mobile platforms, but Little significance for desktop platforms), resulting in performance degradation.
After discovering this problem, AMD began working with partners to develop BIOS updates, and MSI today released the AGESA 1.1.0.2b version BIOS update that can solve this problem.
