When php editor Yuzai uses WindowBuilder, he sometimes faces the problem that the design part becomes blank when parsing a specific JPanel. This problem may prevent us from correctly editing and previewing the JPanel design. While this problem can be frustrating at times, there are some simple solutions you can try. In this article, we will explore the possible causes of this issue and provide some possible solutions to help you resolve this issue and restore normal design functionality.

Question content

I have implemented new code in my Java Swing project and suddenly one of the panels on the Design tab becomes blank. Are there any known implementations of the type that might interfere with this?

Blank design tab with one panel

Normal design tab with any other panel

I wish I could share the entire code, but since it's GUI oriented, it's getting pretty long.

I'm currently trying to locate the problem by almost randomly mixing the current code with the last commit. I would really appreciate it if you share better ideas to locate the source of the problem.

Thanks.

Solution

Found. I'm using my own custom component and at some point decided to modify the behavior of the extension table based on external parameters :

private customtable gettable() {
    if (table == null) {

        table = new customtable(frame.getservice().getregistros(), booleanfield);

        ...
Copy after login

solve this problem

private CustomTable getTable() {
if (table == null) {

    table = new CustomTable(frame.getService().getRegistros());

    ...
Copy after login

So, apparently windowbuilder has trouble rendering heavily modified components, even if they are separate from the main gui panel.

Thank you for your comment! :)
