Chery Automobile officially announced today that its Xingtu Xingyuan ET car will be equipped with the CATL Super Charge battery for the first time in the world, which is claimed to “charge in 10 minutes, travel 400 kilometers, and charge from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes at -20℃ ".

Xingtu Xingyuan ET is positioned as a medium and large SUV. It adopts Chery NP 2.0 technology battery pack and provides different versions of capacity of 60kWh, 82kWh and 100kWh. The cruising range covers 500-700km. , charging for 5 minutes can replenish 150km of battery life. The car is said to be "unafraid of the cold", with a battery life of 63.3% at -25°C and a charge from 30% to 80% in 22 minutes.

The first batch of Chery Star Era ET mass-produced vehicles officially rolled off the production line in Wuhu, Anhui Province in January. This is the second model of the Star Era brand and the first pure electric SUV model. It is expected to be launched in the first quarter of this year.

In addition, Star Era ET will also launch an extended-range version in the future, with a pure electric range of 200km and a comprehensive range of over 1,500km.

CATL’s Shenxing superchargeable battery is equipped with ultra-electronic network cathode technology, graphite fast ion ring anode technology, ultra-thin SEI membrane, ultra-high conductive electrolyte formula, and high-porosity isolation membrane. It is claimed that the total battery life can be up to 700 kilometers.
