Although Xiaomi’s sales fell 10% to 6 million units, it still maintained its third position, thanks to its strong momentum in Central and Eastern Europe.
Motorola and Honor ranked fourth and fifth respectively. Motorola’s shipments were 2 million units, a year-on-year increase of 73%; while Honor’s shipments were 1.1 million units, a year-on-year increase of 116%.
At the same time, in the fourth quarter of 2023, the market share of high-end smartphones in Europe hit a record high, with nearly 40% of smartphones shipped priced at US$800 and above.
