At the same time, the overall smartphone market in Europe is showing a downward trend. Despite the overall market decline, Honor's performance has injected a bit of vitality into the entire industry.

Apple reversed its position behind Samsung for seven consecutive quarters this quarter and regained its No. 1 spot in the market. Its shipments reached 12.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1%. Samsung ranked second with shipments of 10.8 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 12%. Still, shipments of Samsung's S series and mid-range A series remained stable, partially offsetting the decline in sales. Looking at the whole year of 2023, Samsung still occupies the first position in the market.
