According to a report released by battery and energy research company SNE Research on February 24, the total global use of power batteries in 2023 is expected to be approximately 705.5GWh, a year-on-year increase of 38.6%.

Data shows that CATL power battery usage will reach 259.7GWh in 2023, an increase of 40.8% compared to 2022, and the market share is as high as 36.8% , currently CATL has ranked first in the world for seven consecutive years, and is the only battery manufacturer in the world that accounts for more than 30% of the market share.

It is reported that BYD’s power battery installed capacity will reach 111.4GWh in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 57.9%, and its market share will reach 15.8%. At the same time, LG New Energy's power battery installed capacity reached 95.8GWh, a year-on-year increase of 33.8%, with a market share of 13.6%, ranking third in the world.

The fourth to tenth places are Panasonic, SK On, China New Aviation, Samsung SDI, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Yiwei Lithium Energy, and Sunwanda.
