1.1 Visit Palu special event page

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud official website and scan the QR code with DingTalk or Alipay app to register a new user (new users have more benefits and strong discounts)

Just click the "One-click Purchase and Deployment" button on the Alibaba Cloud Game Online Server special page to quickly create your own personal Phantom Beast Parlu server.

Here, Alibaba Cloud's services provide the required configuration for most games, including network port settings (UDP protocol access port 8211) and game environment installation. The entire process can be easily completed with just a few clicks of the mouse.

1.2 Select configuration

On the service configuration page, complete the relevant configuration:

Service instance name (if there are no special requirements, just keep the default);

Select the deployment region (you can choose the city closest to you, if there are no special requirements, just keep the default);

Select the payment period (generally choose monthly subscription, the discount for three months is greater);

Select the configuration. Generally speaking, the higher the configuration, the smoother it will be. This game consumes more memory, so the memory should be at least 16G (Pocketpair’s official recommended configuration is 4 cores and 16G, see details). You can choose 4 cores for the CPU. In terms of bandwidth, it is recommended to have a fixed bandwidth with no limit on traffic. The delay is low and you can play smoothly. Better experience.

Configure server password (remember your password, you will need it later);

Configure the available zone (if there are no special requirements, just keep the default).

After the configuration is completed, click Next to confirm and submit the order.

1.3 Service creation

On the service confirmation page, check the box to agree to the terms of service, click "Create Now", and then follow the payment process.

When you see "Eudemons Parlu Server Address Port", this is the IP address of your server. Copy this address for the next step.

Replace the 127.0.0.1 address at the bottom with the IP address of the "Eudemons Parlu Server Address Port" in the last step above, and you can happily play online games with your friends.

Currently, there is a memory overflow bug in Phantom Beast Parlu. It is recommended to set up a scheduled task in the Alibaba Cloud console and spend a few minutes to automatically restart it when you are free.

3. How to update the server

If you are prompted when entering the game: "The competition you are trying to join is running an incompatible game version, please try to upgrade the game version", it means that your client and Eudemons Parlu server version do not match, and usually need to be updated. The Phantom Beast Parlu server is now available.

Before updating, you need to confirm whether your ECS server operating system is Linux or Windows, and then refer to the following guide according to the system:

3.1 Huanshou Palu server update for Linux system

First access the ECS console remotely, and then connect to the ECS instance remotely

Then execute the command in PowerShell tasklist Find the program "PalServer-Win64-Test-Cmd." in the output, record the following 4-digit pid (for example, 4328 in the picture)

Then execute the command kill pid, such as kill 4328, to stop the running Palworld server

Then execute the following command to obtain the latest Palworld server program. The execution of this command may be slow because the game server file needs to be downloaded. Please wait patiently for its execution to complete

After the execution is completed, it is also recommended that you restart the ECS server. You can find the restart button in the last operation column of the ECS instance list.
