According to news on March 18, Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., said at Honor’s spring flagship new product launch conference that Honor Magic 4 series, Honor Magic 5 series and Honor 100 series mobile phones will start pushing the “Smart Capsule” function from now on.
It is reported that the "Smart Capsule" function is a "Smart Island"-like function launched by Honor on MagicOS 8.0, first launched by the Honor Magic 6 series. 
Previously reported that Honor officially released the announcement of the "Honor Magic 5 & Magic 4 Series Smart Capsule Feature Adaptation Plan" in February this year. The announcement stated that after the early adopter version of MagicOS 8.0 that supports the smart capsule function was pushed to a small number of Magic 5 and Magic 4 series internal beta users in the early stage, the smart capsule was re-optimized after receiving feedback. Because there are differences in the position and size of the hole punching in the screens of different products, customized adaptations need to be made for the smart capsules of each product. The optimized version is expected to be pushed to users in late March 2024. 
It is reported that some Honor Magic 5 series users who participated in the early internal testing of MagicOS 8.0 log version discovered after experiencing the internal testing version of Smart Capsule that this feature is different from the Smart Capsule on the Honor Magic 6 series. There are big differences in morphology. It is precisely because of this difference that some users of the Honor Magic5 series expressed dissatisfaction on social platforms, leading to the delay in the push of this feature of MagicOS 8.0. According to Honor’s official website, the Smart Capsule is located at the top of the mobile phone screen and is displayed in the form of a “capsule”. It can display currently ongoing tasks, making it easier for users to view real-time status, perform shortcut operations, or quickly enter applications.
