According to reports, Liao Qinghong had worked for Huawei for 18 years and joined Xpeng Motors in May 2018. In the first quarter of 2023, Xiaopeng’s sales system will be adjusted and the two sales systems of direct sales and franchise will be merged. Since then, Xiaopeng has successively closed some inefficient direct-operated stores and vigorously developed its dealer system.
Liao Qinghong, who was in charge of the franchisee system, resigned soon after, ending his five-year career at Xpeng Motors. When Xpeng was listed in Hong Kong in 2021, in its disclosed prospectus, Liao Qinghong was one of Xpeng's 11 core executives.
