According to Late Auto, former Xiaopeng Motors executive Liao Qinghong has officially joined Xingji Meizu. He was once a core executive of Xpeng, serving as chief talent officer, vice president of sales, and head of the E platform (model platform). He spanned multiple positions and reported to He Xiaopeng, CEO of Xpeng Motors.

According to reports, Liao Qinghong had worked for Huawei for 18 years and joined Xpeng Motors in May 2018. In the first quarter of 2023, Xiaopeng’s sales system will be adjusted and the two sales systems of direct sales and franchise will be merged. Since then, Xiaopeng has successively closed some inefficient direct-operated stores and vigorously developed its dealer system.

Liao Qinghong, who was in charge of the franchisee system, resigned soon after, ending his five-year career at Xpeng Motors. When Xpeng was listed in Hong Kong in 2021, in its disclosed prospectus, Liao Qinghong was one of Xpeng's 11 core executives.
