新浪科技讯 北京时间2月11日消息，据国外媒体报道，消息人士透露，甲骨文计划收购一些知名度较高的开放源代码公司，以充分利用软件行业的开源趋势。目前，甲骨文正在同这些公司进行谈判。甲骨文此前斥巨资收购了Siebel系统和仁科，目前正在完成业务整合。但据消息人士透露，甲骨文已经同JBoss、Zend科技以及Sleepycat软件展开收购谈判，这三家公司总价 值约为6亿美元。不过，也有消息人士称甲骨文收购Zend的前景并不明朗。到目前为止，甲骨文、JBoss、Zend和Sleepycat都没有就此发表评论。
上述交易从一个侧面反映出甲骨文发展战略的调整，该公司已经决定将开放源代码技术由威胁变为机会。开放源代码产品通常免费，或者相关软件厂商仅向用户收取技术支持费用。由于这一优点，开放源代码产品给企业软件带来了巨大的压力。而以106亿美元收购仁科，以58亿美元收购Siebel之后，企业软件市场已经成为甲骨文最重要的市场之一。例如，甲骨文的旗舰数据库正面临着Ingres和MySQL数据库产品的强劲挑战，当然IBM和微软也面临着同样的威胁。
消息人士称，甲骨文管理层认为，开放源代码产品有助于增强甲骨文战略供应商的地位，特别是该公司目前正面临着由传统商用软件向新型Web服务的转型。去年10月甲骨文收购芬兰开放源代码公司Innobase之后，上述概念获得了公司内部的支持。通过“热插拔”架构，甲骨文计划为用户提供一套能以其它多种程序为技术基础的Web服务开发软件，而开放源代码产品有助于扩展这套软件。
甲骨文CEO拉里-埃利森(Larry Ellison)在瑞士信贷第一波士顿组织的会议上表示：“我们并不会同软件行业的开源趋势对抗，而是希望充分利用这一趋势，让它符合我们的利益。”开放源代码公司SourceLabs的创始人拜伦-塞巴斯蒂安(Byron Sebastian)表示，很多大公司都希望将自己的专利软件同开放源代码产品结合在一起。SourceLabs本周同甲骨文建立了合作伙伴关系，塞巴斯蒂安称此举表明甲骨文已经充分认识到软件行业的开源潮流，但他表示并不了解甲骨文的收购计划。
