News on April 22, according to media reports, vivo will launch its self-developed imaging brand BlueImage in the near future, which is expected to be officially launched on the upcoming vivo X100 Ultra.

According to public information, vivo applied to register the BlueImage imaging trademark on November 14, 2023. The product services cover a number of imaging-related projects such as graphics processors, optical lenses, and sensors.
According to previous reports, the vivo X100 Ultra mobile phone is expected to be released in May. The three rear cameras will be equipped with a 200 million pixel periscope super telephoto lens, equipped with a Zeiss APO telephoto lens, supporting 200x Digital zoom.
In addition, the X100 Ultra’s rear main camera has been upgraded to Sony LYT900, which has a complete 1-inch super large base, a pixel count of 50 million, and a single pixel size of 1.6μm.
Compared with IMX989, LYT900 reduces power consumption by 43%, expands the dynamic range to 14EV, which is 9.5 times that of IMX989, and can retain richer light and dark details.
In terms of core configuration, vivo X100 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, equipped with a Samsung 2K E7 center-punched AMOLED curved screen, supporting 1-120Hz LTPO and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
