Huawei stood out among all mobile phone brands in the first quarter, with a year-on-year growth of 69.7%. Huawei's growth is largely due to brisk sales of its 5G-enabled Mate 60 series, coupled with its own brand recognition as a household name, which has boosted its share of the high-end market above $600.
Although Huawei's strong return has impacted other manufacturers in the market, Honor still achieved 11.5% year-on-year growth in the first quarter thanks to several popular models and its expansion in offline channels.
