1. Insert section breaks

  • Place the cursor at the top of the page where you want to start a new page.
  • Go to the "Page Layout" tab.
  • Click "Section Break" in the "Delimiters" group.
  • Select "Next Page" from the drop-down menu.

2. Set the section page number

  • Double-click the newly created section break.
  • In the "Layout" dialog box, select the "Header and Footer" tab.
  • Check "Different Odd and Even Page Header/Footer" next to "Header" or "Footer".
  • In the header or footer area, enter your desired page number format.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2
