At tonight’s “Let It Go” Apple conference, Apple brought Final Cut Pro 2 and Logic Pro 2 applications to the iPad.
Final Cut Pro 2
Final Cut Pro 2 brings a new Live Multicam real-time multi-camera function, supporting simultaneous connection and preview of up to four cameras. Set up a camera and adjust exposure, white balance, focus and other parameters in real time.
Final Cut Pro 2 paired with iPad Pro with an M4 processor delivers final rendering speeds up to twice that of M1 and supports up to 4 times the number of ProRes RAW video streams.
Apple also released a free standalone camera application, Final Cut Camera, which allows users to easily link multiple iPhones or iPads.
Logic Pro 2
Apple will launch new AI-powered "bass player" and "keyboard player" functions and a new plug-in ChromaGlow in Logic Pro 2.
The Big Track Splitter feature extracts four different parts from any recording: vocals, bass, drums and other instruments.
