Wayve recently announced that it has successfully raised up to US$1.05 billion in Series C financing, which marks the capital market’s full recognition of its leading technology and further consolidates the UK’s pioneering position in the global field of artificial intelligence.

Capital market investment risks are relatively high. This round of financing was led by Japan’s SoftBank Group, and also attracted active participation from new investor Nvidia and original investor Microsoft. Wayve stated that this round of financing will focus on developing the first self-driving solution for mass-produced cars and launching a new large-scale self-driving AI model to accelerate the commercial implementation of self-driving technology.
