为什么会有人说 C++、Java、PHP 是程序员找工作的硬通货？
今晚看到的一个说法，说“C++、Java、PHP是程序员找工作的硬通货，三者熟悉其一就不怕饿死。”
这三者市场需求很高吗？抑或是有其他的程序员硬通货？
这里的“硬通货”指的是，就算这三门学得很水，也能找到工作。
也就是市场需求很高，不过这个说法我是听来的，所以不确定这个说法是不是符合客观实际，所以上来求证一下是不是市场需求真的非常旺盛。

语言很简单，哪怕是以复杂度著称的C++，简单就缺乏价值。对程序员来说，语言熟悉（都不敢写“精通”）只是基本要求，要做高价值程序员，还需要了解很多的其它知识才可以。包括并且不限于编译器原理，操作系统原理，数据库原理 难道只会ruby就会饿死吗？只会js就会饿死吗？不见得。硬通货什么的不要相信，程序员不是依靠工具赚钱的，靠的是想象力，还有坚实的基础。 熟悉这三种其中之一的确不会饿死，但是这个逻辑对其他任何应用广泛的语言都适用。 js才算吧……遍地招前端的年代 同意楼上几位的看法，我认为，语言始终只是一个工具，每种语言都有自己的局限性和适合的场景，只有具备解决系统性的问题时，语言的单个特性才能显的更有效，这时的自己也才更有价值 会python工资高啊，java .net什么的烂大街~~ 需求多是真的，但应该不是针对语言本身。高端职位/长远考量，见ｖｃｚｈ的答案及评论里提到的那篇 in ten years的文章。
高端以下，君不见，c++通常伴随要求熟悉引擎技术或linux系统, java伴随熟悉各种框架，php伴随网页应用开发的各种周边技术。
“熟悉”二字，不是那么容易当得起的。不过是某些领域的常用工具罢了--好歹得能生产点代码才好说别的。但工具这东西，流行总是会变的嘛，那时候对程序员来说保值的一定不是会某某语言了。 和 "学好数理化, 走遍天下都不怕" 是一样的道理
