the difference between scrollwidth, clientwidth and offsetwidth_experience exchange
scrollwidth
it is the width of the actual content of the object, not including the edge width, which will change with the content of the object how much changes (too much content may change the actual width of the object).
clientwidth
is the visible width of the object, excluding scroll bars and other edges, and will change with the display size of the window.
offsetwidth
is the visible width of the object, including scroll bars and other edges, which will change with the display size of the window.

enter content in the text box. when the horizontal scroll bar does not appear, the values of scrollwidth and clientwidth are the same. when a line of content exceeds the width of the text box, a horizontal scroll bar appears and the value of scrollwidth changes.

clientwidth is the width seen by the object (excluding edges), which will not change in this example.

the value of offsetwidth is always greater than the value of clientwidth.
clientwidth is the width seen by the object (excluding edges)
offsetwidth is the width seen by the object (including edges, such as the width occupied by the scroll bar)
