hexo - git项目中clone另一个git项目到子文件夹，如何添加到git 树中？

使用hexo搭建博客，需要在公司，家里分布式编写。
hexo 博客目录下执行
git clone git@github.com:yscoder/hexo-theme-indigo.git themes/indigo
hexo 本身是一个git项目，执行 git status 显示没有可以提交的，如何把hexo/themes/indigo这个目录添加到hexo这个git项目中，提交到github。
