• Completing the Limited-Time Overwatch 2 Discord Quest

Loot boxes have returned to Overwatch 2 with the start of Season 15, and for a limited time, players can earn five loot boxes by completing a simple quest. From now through Feb. 25, players can accept a quest on Discord which requires playing the game for a set amount of time. All you need to do is make sure that your Battlenet and Discord accounts are linked, which we'll explain how to do below.

At the time of this article, Discord quests can only be completed on PC.

Link Your Discord Account with Your Overwatch Account

Linking your Discord account to your Overwatch account is, thankfully, an easy process. Within the Discord app, simply navigate to the User Settings tab (by selecting the cogwheel icon found at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen). From there, click on the "Connections" tab under the first section.

Look for the blue Battle.net icon, and once selected, you will be prompted to log in to that account to authorize the connection. This step is important, as without connecting the two accounts, you won't be able to accept the Discord quest for Overwatch 2.

Completing the Limited-Time Overwatch 2 Discord Quest

Here are the steps you should take to complete the Overwatch 2 Discord quest:

Accepting The Quest

• Navigate to the "Discover" icon within the Discord app, which can be found in the bottom left-hand corner underneath all of your listed servers. From there, click on "Quests" to see all available Discord quests.
• Accept the Overwatch "Perked Up" Quest.

Completing The Quest

• To complete the "Perked Up" Quest, you must play Overwatch 2 on your Discord-connected Battlenet account for 15 minutes.
• You don't have to actively play a match for the timer to go down, so if you prefer, you can idle in the hero gallery or practice range. (Playing a round does make the 15 minutes go by more quickly, however!)
• Once you've finished playing for 15 minutes, you can return to Discord to complete the quest.

Redeeming Loot Boxes

• After completing the "Perked Up" Quest, you will receive a code that can be redeemed via Battlenet for five loot boxes.
• To redeem your code, copy it from Discord and navigate to Battlenet. By clicking on your username within the Battlenet app, you will pull up a menu. Look for the option to "Redeem Code," and you will be prompted to enter your code there.
• Once successfully redeemed, the five loot boxes will automatically be loaded onto your Overwatch 2 account, but you may have to relaunch the game in order to see them.
• If you are unable to redeem the code right away for any reason, you can return to the Discord "Quests" hub to see the code again at any time.

These loot boxes adhere to the same drop rates and rules as loot boxes you earn in-game.
