There is an existing Alibaba Cloud ECS server with the following configuration:
Win2003
Two disks, 40G system disk + 70G data disk (there is almost no useful data under the system disk, and the data disks are all PHP programs)
Want to replace this server with CentOS 7.2
Are there any ready-made complete tutorials and notes for similar cases?
Data disk problem, whether the data of the data disk needs to be backed up locally in advance; whether the data disk needs to be formatted before it can be mounted after replacing CentOS.
Any other things I need to know
Thank you SF and all experienced drivers for your patience in answering!

Opening oss and only doing storage costs little. There used to be no traffic charges for cloud server backup data. After the backup is completed, shut down the computer and switch the operating system by yourself in the menu. The data disk is formatted and mounted by itself. Copy the data from oss.

Need to do data backup
First stop the ecs instance, and then replace the system disk.
Changing the system will only delete the data on the original system disk. Data disks are not affected.
