This article mainly introduces you to the steps of upgrading the MySQL version in phpStudy. The article introduces it in great detail through sample code. It has certain reference and learning value for everyone's study or work. Friends who need it can join us below. Let's see.

Preface

I found an error at work today. When importing the data table locally, I always reported an error:

[Err] 1294 - Invalid ON UPDATE clause for '字段名' column
Copy after login

Error data table field:

`字段名` datetime DEFAULT NULL ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
Copy after login

A colleague said that he could successfully import the same sql file. I guess it may be a problem with the database version. My colleague's version is 5.6. I checked the local database version and it is 5.5.53. After checking online, it turned out to be a version problem. 5.5 and 5.6 have different behaviors of TIMESTEMP. Versions before 5.6.5 do not support multiple CURRENT_TIMESTAMP default values.

Since the local integrated environment is phpStudy 2016, there is no option to upgrade the MySQL version, so I upgraded it myself.

Download the higher version of MySQL from the official website:

Official website: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/file/?id=467269

Baidu Cloud Disk address: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1mi4UHtA

The selected version is 5.7.17 (later I discovered that the installation, system table fields, etc. of version 5.7 are different from the previous version) ).

Steps:

1. Back up the original MySQL installation directory in phpStudy

2. Unzip the downloaded MySQL compressed file Go to the MySQL directory under phpStudy, copy my-default.ini, and rename it to my.ini.

Open my.ini, find #basedir and edit:

basedir=D:/phpStudy/MySQL
datadir=D:/phpStudy/MySQL/data
Copy after login

3. Add the MySQL installation path to System environment variables

4. Enter the MySQL bin directory under cmd (mine is D:/phpStudy/MySQL/bin) and execute:

mysqld --initialize
Copy after login

Initialize the database

5. Install the service:

mysqld -install
Copy after login

Start the service :

net start MySQL
Copy after login

6. Log in to MySQL at this time and an error message will be reported:

C:\Users\dell>mysql -uroot -p
Enter password: ****
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Copy after login

Try to change the root user password:

Open my.ini, find [mysqld], and add below:

skip-grant-tables
Copy after login
Copy after login

At this time, use the root account and press Enter in the password field to log in.

Change password:

mysql>update mysql.user set authentication_string=password('new_password') where user='root' and Host ='localhost'
mysql> ALTER USER USER() IDENTIFIED BY 'news_password';
Copy after login

Refresh permissions:

FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
Copy after login

Comment out the

skip-grant-tables
Copy after login
Copy after login

and log in again.

Check mySQL version at this time:

mysql> select version();
+-----------+
| version() |
+-----------+
| 5.7.17  |
+-----------+
Copy after login
