Is git stuck and unresponsive when checking out a branch?

Question

When switching branches many times recently, after pressing the Enter key, the interface remains stuck there and cannot be switched. There is no prompt, but the files in the directory have changed, but the branch is still the current branch and has not been switched. Then you can only ctrl c to terminate the command, and then you have to delete the .git/index.lock file and undo the changes to the files in the current branch. I haven't found any similar problems on the Internet, so I'm really at my wits' end
